Native Midlander Carol Ramirez has always had a passion for art of any kind, In particular black and white photography. She has always admired and been inspired by photographer Ansel Adams. On vacations Carol takes hundreds of photographs but only a few make it to print. She is very particular of her work. Although her primary interest consist of black and whites she does have a few color photographs.

Carol is married with three children. She is employed with the Midland County Sheriffs Office. Her primary duty is a Warrant Investigator and is part of the F.A.S.T. (fugitive apprehension search team) and has recently been sworn in as a Special United States Marshal for the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Carol was the first female in Midland County who tried out and was chosen for the SWAT. After four years of the tactical side of SWAT she decided to serve as their Negotiator. She is also a Firearms Instructor and helps conduct yearly training.
