Cathy has been a Midlander for the last 9 years. She is a Registered Nurse. She works at Midland Memorial Hospital for the Anesthesia Department evaluating patients for surgery clearance. In her 23 years as a nurse she has worked in many different areas in both rural and large city hospitals in Texas. Her job as an anesthesia nurse has been most rewarding. She also has worked in a holistic practice with a medical doctor and believes this is the reason God has made her a nurse. She has a great love and avid persistence for health and wellness for others as well as herself.

Cathy remembers as a child drawing with her twin sister for hours. She has always used art as a creative outlet. In the last 10 years she has faux painted and started a custom signage business. She has also designed custom art for many of her clients. She particularly enjoys painting on board using color with texture to paint her abstract design. She was commissioned to do the custom signage in Cigar Frogs. The signage includes many quotes about cigars and wine. Cathy and Emmet Headlee, her sweetheart, designed and constructed the 8 foot Cohiba Cigar in Cigar Frogs. Cathy knows that her gift of art is God given and she feels blessed to be able to share it with others.
